What is BetterPot?
BetterPot is a self-watering ceramic planter designed to make keeping plants properly watered easier. A hidden water reservoir supplies moisture gradually to the plant, helping the soil stay consistently hydrated for longer.
How does BetterPot work?
Plant as you normally would, then fill BetterPot’s hidden reservoir. Water is supplied gradually to the soil and root zone as the plant needs it, helping reduce the cycle of letting your plant get too dry and then overwatering it.
No timers, apps or batteries. Just a smarter pot.
Is BetterPot really self-watering?
Yes. BetterPot stores water in its built-in reservoir and supplies it gradually, so you don’t need to water your plant little and often.
You still refill the reservoir when needed — just much less frequently than watering a conventional pot.
How big is BetterPot?
BetterPot is approximately 24 cm tall × 24 cm in diameter — about 9.4 × 9.4 inches.

Is the $1 the price of BetterPot?
No. The $1 reserves your BetterPot VIP spot and unlocks your VIP benefits.
The physical BetterPot will be pledged for separately when the Kickstarter campaign launches.
What happens after I reserve?
You’ll receive a confirmation email and be added to the BetterPot VIP list.
Before the Kickstarter opens to the general public, we’ll email you your priority-access details so you can take advantage of the $48 VIP launch price.
Do I have to buy BetterPot after reserving?
No. Your $1 reservation gives you VIP access and the launch offer, but you are under no obligation to pledge for a BetterPot when the Kickstarter launches.
When will BetterPot launch?
We haven’t announced the Kickstarter launch date yet.
BetterPot VIPs will hear first and receive their priority-access details before the campaign opens to the general public.

BetterPot’s planned retail price is $80.

Will BetterPot ship to the US and the UK?
We are launching in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Delivery terms for the pot itself will be published on the Kickstarter campaign page.
Is my reservation refundable?
